The Ovation 2751AX-5-G 12-String produces a rich and warm sound thanks to its deeply arched roundback body, which is ideal for vocal accompaniment. At the same time sorgt the round construction provides optimized playability while standing. Therefore the acoustic guitar turns out to be the perfect companion on stage. The five-piece neck, in combination with a generous cutaway, allows easy access to all 20 frets. The instrument is rounded off by the in-house pickup system, which is conveniently equipped with an integrated tuner and transmits the sound unaltered to the amplifier.

Construction and woods

To ensure that the 12-string acoustic guitar produces a powerful yet defined sound, the top is made of solid Sitka spruce. The flat Scalloped-X-Bracing sorgt at the same time for an almost attack of the single notes. The round Lyrachord body is equipped with a Deep-Contour arching, thanks to which the bass frequencies can unfold over a wide area. While the five-piece neck made of mahogany and maple ensures easy playability, the Cutaway improves access to the high frets, so that even solos can be mastered easily.

Hardware and design

Thanks to its perfectly matched Hardware the Gitarre intones cleanly and precisely over the entire 643 mm scale. The chrome-plated die-cast tuners also guarantee precise tuning of the steel strings, which end in an ebony bridge. The black finish is accented by a cream-colored, 1-ply binding that creates a pleasant contrast. The fretboard features dot and diamond inlays that mark the most important frets.
