The EVENT sounds as a space-saving module

With the EVS, Ketron presents a compact sound module with the high-quality sounds of the EVENT Entertainer keyboard. The EVS comes with 128 presets ex works, each of which can combine up to three independent GM voices. Furthermore, the presets can be changed and exchanged by the user. The 4 GB sound memory provides a selection of over 500 high-quality tones and 63 percussion sets, which are suitable for various styles such as rock, pop, pop, folk, pop, folk music and more. Rock, Pop, Schlager, Folklore or Evergreens. The sound selection is complemented by a virtual drawbar organ , which can be fully operated via the editor. To give the sounds the finishing touch, Ketron has given the EVS a number of effect variants for delay, reverb, distortion and various modulation effects (including chorus, flanger, phaser). The 144-voice polyphony is distributed across all parts respectively MIDI channels and is sufficiently high even in denser arrangements so that no note breaks off prematurely.

There is only one volume control on the device, everything else is controlled via MIDI commands. Your master keyboard or controller should therefore be able to generate CC and program change commands. For convenient operation, the EVS is supplied with a free program editor for PC & Mac. This is required to create sounds and load banks.
