Like the smaller M Series models, MOTU's M6 audio interface is a high-quality device for recording instruments, voice, vocals and more. Thanks to the robust housing, the included power adapter and the compatibility with Mac and PC, the interface can be easily taken anywhere. or in the studio, at home or with friends on the couch - benefit from a reliable performance on both computers and iOS devices.
Four combo jacks (XLR/line) and two line inputs are available for recording, so you can master common recording situations without any problems. Formats from 44.1 to 192 kHz are supported at the lowest latency. Phantom power and the direct monitoring function are also available.
In addition, there is a MIDI In and Out for your master keyboard or synth, while two stereo outputs (jack) invite you to A/B compare your tracks - provided you have two pairs of monitors. Conveniently, thanks to the "3-4" switch on the front, the monitoring function for headphones can be activated on output 3-4. This gives you an additional audio stereo out for monitoring your audio signals in addition to the front two crystal clear-sounding headphone amplifiers.
Not to forget the extremely accurate metering, which is displayed via a high-resolution LCD. While the competition often relies on simple "overload" indications, here you get a nice insight into your levels.
If you choose a MOTU M6, you'll also get licenses for MOTU Performer Lite and Ableton Live Lite 11, two handy DAWs for recording, editing and mixing your tracks. Plus over 100 virtual instruments (in Performer Lite) and 6GB+ of advanced samples, Loops and one-shots for your music production.
