The British manufacturer Solid State Logic is now offering a small interface for home use for the first time with the SSL Solid State Logic SSL2. The traditional manufacturer has spared no expense. Both channels feature first-class microphone preamps and high-quality AKM converters with a maximum sample rate of 192kHz/24bit. In addition, the signal can be enhanced with the sound of the classic SSL consoles used in large recording studios at the touch of a button.

In addition, there are the typical, practical features that make up a professional interface: balanced monitor outputs, monitor mix controls for the balance between direct signal and PC signal and latency-free monitoring, 48V, line and Hi-Z switches per channel, convenient level meters and, of course, a large, conveniently positioned control for the monitor volume. The SSL Solid State Logic SSL2 is therefore the perfect centerpiece of your home studio and is a high-quality audio interface, monitor controller and headphone amplifier in one.

The connection is made via the modern and fast USB 3.1 interface.

SMC-80 condenser microphone

A sensitive microphone with a high dynamic and frequency range is necessary to ensure that your audio recordings come across crystal clear and detailed. The SMC-80 scores in every respect, while its cardioid polar pattern prevents sound from entering from the rear. The condenser microphone is operated with 48V phantom power and is particularly suitable for vocal recordings, but can also be used for a wide variety of instruments.
