      Make Noise PoliMaths - complex CVs on 8 outputs

      With PoliMaths, Make Noise presents an eight-channel CV and audio generator that generates complex modulations with just one set of controls. The module primarily consists of two components. The left side contains the popular Rise/Fall envelope with variable waveform and cycle mode from the MN modules Maths, Function and the 0-Coast Synthesizer. The right-hand side consists of an oscillator with a variable waveform whose amplitude is modulated with the Rise/Fall envelope. This oscillation can be either a low frequency for generating complex control voltages or an audio frequency for generating tones with optional tuned pitch control via 1 V/oct control voltage. The Channel Index, Round and Parallel modes determine the way and intensity in which the envelope and the oscillator interact with each other. SPAN and SPREAD are used to set how much the eight CV outputs deviate from each other and how present the oscillator is on the outputs. Basically, PoliMaths is a function generator that generates various envelope curves or LFO modulations with a variable waveform and frequency and an oscillator that generates control voltages instead or mixed with the function generator. These voltages are output with a certain offset and always as a variant at the eight outputs. PoliMaths can be normalized via a 5-pin connector on the back of the module with QXG, among others. This gives you 8-channel amplitude control!
