With Meta, Oxi Instruments presents a performance-oriented effects module for impressive transitions and cool drops. Six effects with high-quality audio quality are waiting to be used at Studio or on stage. The signal path is stereo on both the input and output sides. Operation is extremely simple; only a few shift functions are available to reach a third subordinate parameter. Anyone who has heard the sometimes spectacular DJ sets at festivals such as Tomorrow Land, Parookaville or Nibirii will probably have an idea of what Meta is capable of. and to synchronize the time-based effects such as Delay or Looper , the clock input or the tap tempo button are available. There is a CV input for the two main parameters FX and CTRL. In short, if you want to experience the euphoric hands-up moments of electronic nightlife, Meta is the perfect choice.
The meta effects at a glance:
- SPACE - dense reverb effect with adjustable mixing ratio, Highpass Filter and tone parameters to vary the reverb character.
- RISER - consists primarily of a Highpass Filter and reverb, the two modes optionally add noise or a Shepard tone effect (barberpole effect).
- FILTER - the popular effect in current club mixers: depending on the direction of rotation, FX functions as a Lowpass or Highpass filter. CTRL controls the resonance.
- LOOP - the beat-synchronized Looper picks out a short snippet from the current audio material in real-time, adds another Highpass Filter over it and plays it forwards or backwards.
- DELAY - beat-synchronous Delay with selectable clock divider, either a Lowpass or Highpass Filter intervenes in the feedback path.
- GATER - an exciting effect that either chops the audio signal beat-synchronously (hard tremolo) or automatically inserts snare rolls also beat-synchronously.
