Waves by After Later Audio is the 1:1 reincarnation of the popular Mutable Instruments Ripples Multimode filter. There are two audio inputs, the one without knob has a mellow character, the input with knob tends to have heavy distortion depending on the setting, which is a great addition sonically. Lowpass and bandpass can be switched in slope between 12 and 24 dB, for highpass this value depends on resonance. The last element in this module is the built-in VCA, which is positioned behind the filter and is hardwired to the lowpass output. For controlling the cutoff parameter there are two CV inputs, for resonance and VCA level one each. Due to the VCF/VCA combination it is perfectly suited for smaller systems and space-saving setups.
