The Bell Black from 2hp is a digital drum module that generates metallic drum sounds based on modal synthesis. It is based on eight different models which cover marimba, bells, vibraphones and Tibetan singing bowls. The module is polyphonic for six voices, so sounds that are triggered in quick succession can fade out to this extent. Pitch is used to determine the pitch, Damp acts as if, for example, a cloth were placed on the crash cymbal. There is a CV input for both parameters.
