QU-Bit Bloom V2 at a glance
Bloom V2 from Qu-Bit Electronix is a fractal sequencer that can create an infinite number of successively evolving melodies with many musical characteristics. At its heart is a 64-step sequencer with three independent channels and an intuitive user interface. What makes Bloom V2 so lively are its fractal algorithms, which mutate existing sequences or create completely new patterns. The base sequence can be programmed manually or generated automatically using the reseed function. Once this has been generated, the sequence can be supplemented with the knobs and variations, resulting in a generic sequence up to 64 steps long. Clock-synchronized ratchetings and slew per step can also be programmed. Each of the three CV/Gate tracks has an additional mod output that generates clock-synchronous control voltages. Like its predecessor, Bloom V2 is based on algorithmic variations and probabilities. Sequences can be dynamically resized and rotated, while notes can be embellished with musical trills or arpeggios. The MIDI output on the front panel allows the sequencing of any synthesizer or expander with MIDI control. This opens up completely new musical possibilities outside of Eurorack .
Practical web editor
Thanks to the free Narwhal web app available from Qu-Bit, Stardust can be quickly adapted to new circumstances. Narwhal can be used to define user-defined settings, import sequences into the module and much more. The transfer to the module takes place via USB stick.
