Intelligent patchbay solution for professional studios
The PBR TT LIT patchbay from Black Lion Audio combines professional audio quality with a modern, digital labeling system. The model offers 96 gold-plated TT connections on the front and 12 rear DB25 connections in the Tascam standard. The PBR TT LIT was developed for use in high-quality studios where precise routing and long-term reliability are required.
Digital overview thanks to LED display
A key feature of the PBR TT LIT is the integrated LED display, which assigns an easy-to-read designation to each connection. The display can be individually configured to ensure maximum clarity. The channels can be labeled directly via a connected USB keyboard. Alternatively, the supplied PatchCAD BLA Edition software enables simple editing on the computer with subsequent transfer via USB stick. The entire display can be deactivated via a button on the device if required.
High-quality signal routing
The patchbay offers 96 balanced TT connections in audiophile quality. All sockets are gold-plated and guarantee permanent loss-free signal transmission. Twelve DB25 connections are available at the rear, each accommodating eight channels. Thanks to the standardized assignment, they are compatible with a wide range of professional audio components. The clean workmanship and precise contact routing meet the requirements of demanding studio cabling.
Flexible routing thanks to switchable operating modes
The operating mode can be selected individuallyfor each vertical channel group. Normal, semi-normal and non-normal configurations are possible. Switching is carried out via recessed switches on the top of the housing. These have been designed for a long service life and allow precise adjustment of the signal routing. The flexible structure supports serial processing chains as well as parallel signal distribution.
Robust housing with sophisticated design
The PBR TT LIT is housed in a reinforced steel chassis with a black anodized aluminium front. This construction offers high stability in studio use. An additional earthing point on the rear helps to avoid ground loops. Power is supplied via a USB-C connection. The clear arrangement of the connections and controls enables easy integration into existing studio racks with an installation height of 2U.
Efficient configuration with PatchCAD software
The included PatchCAD BLA Edition offers a convenient tool for creating and managing duct labeling. The desired designations can be entered and exported in a table-like interface. The system supports up to six characters per channel. The finished configuration is loaded into the patchbay via a USB stick (max. 8GB). The Display then displays the entered information clearly and permanently.
