The Polyversemusic Gatekeeper (Plug-In) is an extremely versatile and far-reaching volume modulation plug-in in VST/AU/AAX formats, but this description fails to do Gatekeeper justice. Used strictly as a processing tool Gatekeeper can easily perform as a scalpel-precise compressor, taming waveforms using the 1024x nodes available and creating your attenuation envelope. Gatekeeper has a very attractive UI and is very intuitive to use and clear to understand - essentially your processing is painted straight into the audio waveform, making the whole experience a more visual one.

Gatekeeper really opens its gate once employed as an effect plug-in however. Experimentation with different envelopes can create side-chain style reaction sequences or busy filters. It is here that Gatekeeper come into its own as an enjoyable to use production aid that doubles as your secret-weapon effect plug-in.
