The FetHead Filter is an ideal supplement for mobile recording, as recordings with external microphones gain noticeably in quality through the improved pre-amplification.

The FetHead Filter offers 27dBs of low noise, high quality amplification that can be applied to either dynamic or condenser microphones as phantom power is transferred to the microphone. The FetHead Filter features a built-in 6dB/octave high pass filter with a corner frequency of 220Hz, specially designed for microphones that exhibit an excessive proximity effect/low frequency response, such as long motor ribbon microphones.
