The tool offers numerous intelligent features, including the new Chords and Phrases tools, which generate MIDI content and create melodies and sequences in no time at all. These tools can be used with any Kontakt instrument, allowing seamless integration into existing workflows. Leap, a feature for manipulating Loops and samples, allows for quick editing and offers 12 pre-built expansion packs specialising in different genres such as Afrobeats, Latin Trap and Progressive Trance.

Another highlight is Conflux, a hybrid instrument that combines samples with wavetable and FM oscillators to modulate sound material in real time. This function enables flexible sound design and opens up new worlds of sound. The Factory Library 2 contains over 900 instruments and offers a comprehensive collection of high-quality sounds suitable for any musical production. Kontakt 8 also seamlessly supports integration with Hardware such as the Kontrol keyboards and Maschine series, and offers deep NKS integration that enables fast browsing and previewing of instruments as well as direct control.
