Solid mahogany construction

As a guarantee for a warm and resonant basic character, the Epiphone remains true to the tried and tested basic recipe and offers a body made of solid mahogany wood, which is fitted with a domed maple cap. The neck, also made of solid mahogany, is glued to this. With its '50s Rounded Medium C profile, it provides the tried-and-tested Paula feeling for the thumb of the fretting hand, while the 22-fret ebony fingerboard with a 12" fingerboard radius offers the best playability from headstock to neck heel.

Gibson USA 490R & 498T Humbucker

As a special highlight, Gibson USA has given the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Ebony two Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers. The two dual coilers are normally only found on high-quality Gibson models made in the USA and produce an amazingly warm and full sound with classic alnico warmth. Thanks to the moderate Output, the pickups are always ready for dynamic, expressive leads as well as brute rock riffs. The hand-wired electrics are completed by high-quality CTS potentiometers and genuine Mallory capacitors.
