Versatile bass preamp with the sound of Microtubes Vintage and Microtubes B3K

The Darkglass Microtubes Infinity combines the three most legendary bass distortion units of the Finnish effects forge in a modern digital preamp that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of sound design and features and turns out to be the perfect sound centre for the Pedalboard . In addition to the classic versions of Microtubes Vintage and Microtubes B3K, there is also a multi-band version of the two Finnish classics inspired by the Microtubes X. At the same time, the simulation of a tube preamp promises warm, clean sounds. To further shape the Bass sound, the effects pedal also offers a 6-band graphic equalizer and a compressor. An impulse response speaker simulation for the integrated interface and the balanced XLR Output of the Darkglass Microtubes Infinity also provides natural sounds for direct pickup of the Darkglass Microtubes Infinity.

At the heart of the Darkglass Microtubes Infinity are absolutely detailed simulations of the legendary Microtubes Vintage and Microtubes B3K bass pedals, which stand for a juicy Vintage grind with the right amount of "dirt" and a modern bass distortion with enormous tightness, respectively. In the multi-band interpretations of the Scandinavian classics inspired by the Microtubes X, there is also the option of distorting only the high-frequency ranges and adding a compression effect to the foundation. For clean sounds, there is also a simulated tube preamp with an inimitable warm sound character.

Extensive sound shaping options

In order to be able to precisely adjust the sound character, the Microtubes Infinity provides a graphic 6-band equalizer with carefully matched centre frequencies, the operation of which is particularly comfortable thanks to the touch sliders. While the intelligent one-knob compressor helps to smooth unwanted level peaks, the clean signal, which can be mixed in using the blend control, maintains the pressure in the low-frequency ranges.
