The Union Audio LE FX at a glance

With the LE FX, the British high-end manufacturer Union Audio presents a flexible DJ effects unit that meets the highest demands. The LE FX scores with high-quality components and is manufactured by hand in the UK. It is also characterised by intuitive operation and first-class effect algorithms. The preferred effect is selected using the EFFECT control; all possible settings are made using controls 1 and 2 and vary depending on the algorithm. Only the large Dry/Wet control has the same function for all programs.

The Analogue Delay, BPM Delay, Reverb, Flanger, Phaser, Bit Crusher, HPF Reverse and HPF Stutter effects are always based on the tempo of the music. The input for this is done automatically via Auto BPM Detection or manually with the Tap Tempo button. To quickly switch to the original sound, press the Bypass button.

The connections underline the professional standard: if you prefer the signal path Mixer > Effect Device > PA, you have the choice between RCA or XLR at the inputs and outputs. The two insert sockets allow connection to the insert sockets of a club or rotary mixer using high-quality, balanced cables with 6.3 mm stereo jacks.
