The P12 is a tube microphone from Peluso based on AKG's legendary C12 with nine switchable polar patterns including spider, power supply and flight case.

This extremely high-quality condenser microphone has an amplifier circuit with a 6072A-M vacuum tube for a particularly warm vintage sound, which was modeled as closely as possible on the C12. Peluso's P12 reproduces this legendary sound perfectly and has the classic warmth of tube amplification, while remaining subtle in the bass and focusing on open and clear mids. This makes it particularly suitable as a speech and vocal microphone with a natural, non-buzzing character that reproduces the voice unadulterated instead of coloring it excessively. The directional characteristic can be changed in nine stages from omnidirectional (omnidirectional) to cardioid to bidirectional (figure of eight) using a rotary switch on the power supply unit. The microphone is supplied together with the MX-56 power supply unit in a retro metal housing with handle, an elegant wooden box with velvet padding, a microphone spider with stainless steel frame, an 8-pin signal cable with screw threads and a robust metal case.
