The Maybach Texonian T61 Vintage Cream Aged electric guitar impresses with its artificially aged nitrocellulose finish, traditional construction, and top-class single-coil pickups with authentic vintage vibes in feel and sound. While the pine body and the "Big C" maple neck convey the typical playing feel of a guitar from the golden age, Amber Twangtone 50 pickups deliver traditional sounds with a crisp attack and well-dosed bite in the trebles. A Wilkinson bridge and tuning-stable Gotoh tuners complete the Texonian T61 Vintage Cream Aged from Maybach.

Traditional construction and a ged finish

When designing the Texonian T61, the Maybach luthiers paid particular attention to a lively tone and an authentic vintage feel. The artificially aged nitrocellulose finish not only conveys the look and feel of a road-worn vintage original but also supports the resonance of the electric guitar, which is built with a classic pine body and bolt-on maple neck. The pleasantly substantial "Big C" neck profile with a historically correct 7.25" fingerboard radius (184 mm) also promises comfortable playing characteristics.

Amber pickups

For the electric tone conversion of the Texonian T61 Vintage Cream, Maybach relies on two single coils from the German vintage pickup specialist Amber. The Amber Twangtone 50 single coils, wound with plain enamel wire and equipped with Alnico V magnets in the neck and bridge positions, promise top-class vintage sounds with a crisp attack and well-dosed bite in the highs, making them ideal for licks between country and rock. The pickups of the electric guitar are controlled in the classic way using a 3-way switch and controls for volume and tone.

High-quality v intage-style hardware

Last but not least, Maybach completes the Texonian T61 Vintage Cream with high-quality hardware in authentic vintage style. On the body, the Wilkinson bridge with brass string saddles and the string-through-body design support the crisp sound of the guitar. The generous adjustment range of the string saddles also promises clean intonation of the strings. Gotoh SDS-510 tuners on the headstock ensure precise tuning with unshakeable stability.
