Mosaic 's Decimator is a bitcrusher effect in a compact 1U format. The module can influence the quality reduction in the parameters bit depth, sample rate and mix ratio, which are also controllable via CV. The Bitcrusher masters a wide range of partly drastic sound changes. Starting with adding artifacts and small but audible "sound gaps" in the sound over anzerren up to the downright milling of the audio signal, a lot is possible. Besides maltreating audio signals, the module can also be used to edit control voltages, so for example an LFO with triangle waveform becomes an up and down staircase with variable step height!
