Befaco Pony VCF Lowpass Filter at a glance

The Pony VCF from Befaco is an analog 24 dB Lowpass filter with SSI 2144 chip and built-in VCA. If you love the sound of classic synthesizers such as PPG Wave 2.3, Korg Monopoly, Polysix and Trident or Siel Opera6, the Pony VCF is the perfect choice. The module is equipped with three adjustable audio inputs, whereby input 3 functions as a feedback loop when not connected. To modulate the filter, two CV inputs are provided for cutoff, one of which has an attenuator; resonance is equipped with its own control voltage input. The last link in the signal path is the VCA, which picks up the required voltage for opening at CV1 or can be modulated via a separate CV input. The three inputs and the VCA also make the module interesting for small systems where every TE is important and the VCA and a signal mixer can be dispensed with.
