The Eventide 2016 Stereo Room (License) is an Effect Plug-In which simulates a real room in a natural and musical way. It is based on the classic studio unit SP2016, which has been used on countless classic recordings.

In addition to the standard Pre-Delay, Decay and Mix parameters, the Reverb Tail can be configured using a Reverb EQ with 2x freely selectable frequencies and a Diffusion control that crossfades the sound character of the Tail from sharp to full. A special feature of the 2016 Stereo Room is the Position control, which can be used to influence the placement of the Microphone in the virtual room. It can be used, for example, to control the amount of early Reflections in an authentic, accessible way.
