What functions do the P8 preamps offer?

Each of the eight preamps is equipped with a range of practical functions that ensure comprehensive control over the input signal. These include a PAD switch, which attenuates the input signal by 20 dB if required, and a phase inversion function. In addition, each channel has a switchable analog high-pass filter that starts at 80 Hz and operates with a slope of 6 dB per octave. These features ensure optimum adjustment of the signal, whether in studio recording or in live environments. Thanks to the DB25 output, the use of external signal splitters is no longer necessary, which considerably simplifies the setup for backup or emergency systems.

This version of the P8 also features two optical ADAT outputs for connection to digital audio interfaces and World Clock I/O for optimum synchronization.
