The ART V/Oct Quantizer from Tiptop Audio is a four-channel quantizer for tone generators in the ART series. Primarily, the module works like any other quantizer: any control voltage is scaled to even notes within the selected tone scale. The special feature is that this quantizer does not work with all Eurorack modules but only with those that support the ART standard; CV, Gate and triggers are accepted on the input side. The four channels work monophonically, the fourth channel can alternatively be set to generate chords and polyphonic note streams for polyphonic ART oscillators. The scaling range has a range of ten octaves. There are six preset configurations for each channel, which are optimized for specific control voltage sources. The eight scales cover the most common ones.
