Real tube power with a warm response

The brown vinyl housing with "Wheat" front covering, vintage-style controls, and classic tweed design emphasize the amp's character. At the heart of the '62 Super Amp are two 6L6 power tubes, six 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 5AR4 rectifier tube, creating the unmistakable sound of the early sixties. Two separate channels normal and vibrato offer individual control over volume, treble, and bass. The vibrato channel also features speed, intensity, and presence controls, allowing the effect to be tailored from subtle nuances to rich, dramatic modulation. The solid pine construction not only keeps the amp lightweight but also contributes to its resonant, full-bodied sound.

Harmonic Tremolo

Sonically, the '62 Super Amp excels with warm clean tones that blossom into creamy tube-driven distortion at higher volumes. The Harmonic Tremolo, a Fender in-house design from 1961, modulates not just volume but also the phase and harmonic content of the signal. The result is a floating tremolo effect that surpasses conventional amplitude modulation and captures the distinctive charm of the "Brown Panel" sound.
