The VOX amPlug 2 Clean is a portable headphone amplifier offering three amp styles with nine selectable effects and an auxiliary input. The new-for-NAMM 2017 amPlug 2 Series consists of headphone amps with a considerably improved analogue circuit and a choice of three modes.

This "Clean" version offers Pure Clean, which represents a direct recording sound, Twin Clean, which produces a classic clean valve amp sound, and Boutique OD, which creates an overdriven three-dimensional lead tone. Constructed with a foldable plug mechanism, this headphone amplifier rotates 180° and a features an auto power-off function. Powered by two AAA batteries, the amPLUG lasts up to 17 hours on full charge.
