The Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF matte Metallic Black combines a successful modern-retro design with the trendy multiscale construction to the perfect electric bass for the modern styles of rock and metal. While the mahogany body and the bolt-on maple neck promise a warm sound, the scale length increasing from 34" to 36.25" guarantees a tight output of every note even with drop tunings. Managed with the help of a 4-way rotary switch and traditional passive circuitry with volume and tone controls, three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups deliver multi-faceted tones with high assertiveness. Lightweight Hipshot bass tuners and four Dingwall single bridges complete the features of the D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF matte Metallic Black electric bass from Dingwall.

Multiscale construction
The heart of the Dingwall D-Roc's elegant modern-retro design is undoubtedly the multiscale construction, which allows each string to vibrate with an optimized scale length between 34" for the G and 36.25" for the E. Accordingly, the four-string impresses even with drop tunings with a defined and powerful representation of every note played. In addition to the stylish mahogany body with a raised middle section, the four-string also has a bolt-on maple neck with a slim "Medium Thin C" profile which promises optimal playing characteristics on the 20-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard.
With three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups and a 4-way passive circuit with volume control and treble cut-off, D-Roc delivers versatile bass tones.
Dingwall FD-3N Pickups and Passive Circuitry
The pickup selection on the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF matte Metallic Black includes three passive Dingwall FD-3N pickups with powerful neodymium magnets that combine a smooth sound with the right amount of bite and assertiveness. The 4-way rotary switch activates the pickups in different combinations, so that the four-stringer delivers both traditional vintage sounds and modern timbres to the bass amp. In addition to the volume control, the Dingwall D-Roc's classic passive circuitry provides a treble cut-off for adjusting the bass sound.
On the compact headstock of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard, four lightweight Hipshot bass tuners provide accurate and stable tuning.
High quality hardware
Last but not least, a high-quality and perfectly tailored hardware setup completes the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF matte Metallic Black. At the compact headstock, the strings are guided to the Hipshot Ultralite bass tuners, which not only guarantee a stable and precise tuning of the four-stringer, but also prevent weight imbalances. Four staggered Dingwall single bridges on the body also promise optimal adjustment of intonation and string action.
