The Tama Starclassic Maple Exotic ME42TZUS is drumset in pro quality and comes with a 22" bass drum, 10" and 12" tom toms as well as a 16" floor tom.
Starting with the shells made from the finest maple, via the hardware in Smoked Black Nickel finish to the unique colors, the Tama Starclassic Maple series is extremely professional down to the last details.
The picture shows a set example! Cymbals, snare and hardware are NOT included!
Heads by Evans
The heads of the Starclassic Maple drums are Evans G2 (batter head), G1 (resonant head) and EQ4 (bass drum). They are tuned with high quality cast hoops that also come in the noble Smoked Black Nickel finish. The toms are mounted with help of the Star Cast mounting system to provide maximum resonance.
Toms and floor tom with Quick-Lock brackets
Both the tom toms and the floor tom come with Quick-Lock brackets which allow fast and easy set up and tear down. The floor tom legs have air pads to achieve maximum resonance of the shell. In order to provide a solid tuning, all tuning rods ome with the Tama Hold Tight washers.
Optimal resonance
The shells are made from the finest maple with an outer ply of Pacific walnut. Tom toms and floor tom feature 6 plies with a total strength of 5 mm, while the bass drum comes with 8 plies and 7 mm thickness. The thin shells guarantee optimal head to shell contact and provide perfect resonance.
