Drum set from Pearl from the Export Series
The Pearl Export EXX725SBR/C761 Satin Shadow Black features 6-ply shells made of a poplar/mahogany mix, these convince with 45° bearing edge, 1.6 mm hoops, Opti-Loc tom suspension and are manufactured with Superior Shell Technology. A complete hardware set and a Sabian sbr cymbal set is included. The drums of the Pearl Export Series come as complete sets and are aimed at the demanding beginner.
Superior Shell Technology: Pearl Export Artisan
For optimal sound development of the exotic woods, the Export shells are manufactured using the special SST (Superior Shell Technology) process and then fitted with weight-reduced lugs in a new design. Pearl's Opti-Loc mounting system, which uses a triangular shape to minimize contact between the shell and metal, allows the shells to resonate freely and impressively unfold the full range of their unmistakable Export sound. The bearing edge of the 6-ply poplar/mahogany shells is sanded at a 45° angle and, together with the triple-flanged, 1.6 mm thick hoop ensures a deep and full sound. As usual, the Pearl Export set comes with a complete hardware set.
