Structure and sound
Due to its 4/4 construction, the R159 has a large soundbox that produces a full sound volume. The mahogany body also provides a high assertiveness. The solid cedar top, a preferred wood for classical guitars, enriches the sound and powerful, open and warm tones as well as soft basses. furthermore, the sound character of cedar unfolds after the shortest playing-in time, which makes the instrument perfectly ready for use immediately.

Playability and design
With its 52 mm nut width, the Okouméhals with Purpleheart fingerboard ideally meets the requirements needed for fingerpicking or strumming. The classical guitar is rounded off by its attractive exterior. The high-gloss finish brings out the grain of the woods particularly well and thus supports a natural character. This is enhanced by the white pearl rosette in perfect harmony with the pearloid tuners. An optimal instrument in every respect.
