The Fostex T60RPmk2 are the latest evolutionary stage of the legendary RP series and combine the precise sound reproduction of the 4th Generation RP Planar Magnetic drivers with an elegant housing made of solid walnut wood. They offer an exceptionally detailed soundstage, warm tonal colors and a luxurious feel - perfect for audiophile listeners and professional applications.
Solid walnut wood for natural sound colors
The semi-open housing made of solid black walnut wood not only gives the T60RPmk2 an elegant appearance, but also has a positive influence on the sound signature. The bass range is tight and precise, while the treble is open and airy - for a natural, spatial listening experience.
4. Generation RP Planar Magnetic drivers
The newly developed drivers use an improved magnetic structure and an optimized coil shape to suppress unnecessary resonances and reproduce transients even faster and more precisely. The result is uniform frequency reproduction from 10 Hz to 40 kHz with excellent localization and the finest detail resolution.
Comfort for long listening sessions
The new over-ear ear pads are made of soft, elastic material and offer a high level of comfort - even during long sessions. Ultrasuede® ear pads are available as an option, which further improve wearing comfort and sonic detail.
Flexible connections and high-quality cables
Thanks to the symmetrical design with 2-pin 3.5 mm connections on both sides, the cable can be routed to the left or right as required. The OFC cable supplied ensures loss-free signal transmission. An optional balanced 4.4 mm cable is also available.
