The Palmer Pro PAN 08 is a multifunctional device. Each of the four channels can be used independently as an active DI box, line isolation box or catch-up amplifier. The input combi jack accepts unbalanced and balanced signals. The output is transformer-balanced with 2-way XLR socket (front and rear).

The signal level for microphone inputs can be lowered by 20 dB, for LINE inputs it can be raised by 18 dB if necessary, but also switchable in 3 steps. With an output level of +12 dBu at 600 Ohm load at 0.05 % THD /40 Hz and an output noise of less than -110 dBu, the device also meets high professional demands. A special feature is the battery supply. The supply voltage must not exceed 9-18 V. This means that the PAN08 can also be used independently of the mains in outdoor operation.
