Designed in collaboration with Wata, guitarist and keyboardist of the Japanese band Boris, the EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas delivers the juicy, crushing tones of drone and doom metal. The fuzz pedal is based on Wata's original seventies Japanese-made Elk BM Sustainar, known for its classic "Triangle" sound and celebrated by heavy guitarists for its massive gain. The Hizumitas is a faithful recreation of the original, offering straightforward operation. Three controls for Volume, Sustain, and Tone allow you to shape the output level, adjust the intensity of the distortion and sustain, and fine-tune the tonal character of the effect.
