The Strymon Riverside Multistage Drive Pedal is an analogue/digital drive pedal designed to recreate the sound of vacuum tube circuits. The Riverside generates cascading gain stages to give your tones a natural and musical nuance, whether that tone is silky smooth or distressed distortion. This is a pedal that will work with your amp using its DSP to emphasize dynamic complexity and harmonics throughout the signal. The circuit follows the settings input into the face closely, making sure that whatever the nature of the tone and level of drive the "sweet spot" is always "on". The inclusion of a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid & Treble) and 3-position Presence switch allows for complete tailoring of your guitars sound in relation to the amp's output. The Riverside also carries the option of snapshotting your preferred setup using the Favourite tap-switch. Once input, push and hold the switch to save the settings, and then a quick tap will recall those settings.
