The DiMarzio DP271F Imperium 6 Neck Black is the signature humbucker of Revocation guitarist Dave Davidson and accordingly designed for brute metal sounds. The humbucker has a well-balanced frequency spectrum and delivers an adequate output to give high gain leads an enormous punch. That the Imperium can unfold its qualities not only when played with distortion is proven by its enormously clear and defined cleans with a full-bodied low end. Both the neck and bridge versions of the DiMarzio Imperium 6 are modeled after the seven-string versions from a sonic perspective to allow Dave to switch smoothly from 7-string to 6-string when performing.
