A hybrid of the C-100 & C-800

With the C-80, Sony introduces a unidirectional condenser microphone (cardioid) that is ideal for recording vocals, instruments and podcasts. In developing the C-80, Sony engineers were able to draw on their extensive experience in microphone design and incorporate crucial technologies from the popular C-800 and C-100 microphones into the new model.
