The Rode VideoMicro II is the ideal companion for all filming with DSLR or video camera. It features high input sensitivity for stable, low-noise video sound and high directivity for good side and rear interference rejection, delivering distortion-free, linear sound across the frequency spectrum. A subtle boost in the presence range ensures excellent speech intelligibility. In addition, it is extremely handy and compact with a length of 8cm and a weight of 39g.

Equipped for all scenarios

The VideoMicro II is connected to the microphone input of your camera or recorder in the classic way using the stereo jack cable included in the scope of delivery and supplied with power from there. Alternatively, the microphone can also be connected to the jack connector of an iPhone or iPad using the second Rode SC7 cable. With the help of the two included windscreens made of fur and foam, the microphone is well equipped for outdoor use and wind and motion noise can be effectively kept out of the camera sound. When mounted on the camera hot shoe, the Helix swing mount provides excellent decoupling of mechanical noise events that would otherwise reach the recording as low-frequency rumble or knock.
