The Gibson ES-335 Figured Iced Tea electric guitar combines the coveted semi-acoustic design penned by Ted McCarty with a number of fine appointments to create a premium semi hollow guitar for blues, jazz and rock. Built in the USA as part of the Gibson Original Collection, the ES-335 Figured features a semi-resonant body of chic curly maple laminate and a comfortably playable "Rounded C" mahogany neck. A Set of Gibson Calibrated T-Type humbuckers provides furthermore for lively sounds with clear vintage borrowings and the swing-joyful character of the half-acoustic construction. Classic Hardware in the form of an ABR-1 bridge with aluminum Stopbar and precise Keystone tuners completes the ES-335 Figured semi hollow guitar from Gibson.

Semi-acoustic guitar with chic maple laminate
The Gibson ES-335 Figured has a slim Thinline body, whose top, back and sides are made of a three-ply curly maple-poplar laminate with a particularly elegant and intensive grain. In combination with the solid maple center block, the semi-acoustic construction promises a particularly resonant sound, without unwanted feedback at high volumes. The glued mahogany neck with its pleasantly strong "Rounded C" profile offers comfortable playing characteristics, so that the classic techniques of Blues and rock can be implemented with ease on the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
With two Gibson Calibrated T-Type humbuckers and hand-wired circuitry, the ES-335 Figured delivers exceptionally versatile tones.
Gibson Calibrated T-Type Humbucker
For the pickup of the ES-335 Figured Gibson chooses two Calibrated T-Type Humbuckers. The classically built pickups deliver a lively sound at the guitar amplifier, which skillfully captures the resonance of the semi-acoustic construction and offers the perfect basis for harmonious clean sounds and creamy Overdrive with the clear vintage warmth. To control the pickup, the familiar 3-way circuit with separate volume and tone controls for each pickup is available.
Traditional vintage-style keystone tuners guarantee accurate and stable tuning of the electric guitar.
Traditional Hardware
Last but not least, the hardware equipment established since the Fifties completes the ES-335 Figured Iced Tea semi hollow guitar. While the classic stopbar tailpiece is made of aluminum, the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge guarantees an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position. At the headstock, the strings are routed via a Graph Tech nut to the vintage-style Keystone tuners, which combine elegant Vintage-Looks with high precision and tuning stability.
