5 acoustic instruments, lifelike sampled in an experimental selection - this is the Toontrack Hybrid Harp EKX (License Code) version. The software instrument combines harmonium, concert harp, ocarina, Swedish keyboard fiddle (nyckelharpa) and a glockenspiel bowed with a violin bow. The instruments come from completely different traditions and contexts, but in EZkey's Hybrid Harp they complement each other to form a harmonic ensemble that is ideal for creating soundscapes, background music, sound design, but also film and game music.

The two sampled harmonies are available in different registrations and underpin an arrangement with a solid bass foundation and soft wind or string-like pads. The concert harp provides attack-rich, warm melodic lead, which the ocarinas complement with shimmering yet rounded harmonics. The nyckelharpa, on the other hand, is a special, polyphonically playable violin with a distinctive keyboard sound, a melancholic swelling in tone and perfectly suited for areas, but also expressive melodies or accompanying voices. Finally, the bowed glockenspiel is the most unusual voice in Toontrack EZkeys Hybrid Harp and sounds extremely rich in overtones, almost sharp, so powerful, but without being annoying. The combination of the 5 is unique, experimental, yet easy to use and can be integrated into any setup. Of course, all instruments in a single plug-in instance are polyphonic and multitimbral playable with their own MIDI tracks!
