The PRS MT 100 Mark Tremonti Head is just the right head for guitarists looking for a classically constructed amplifier for juicy heavy sounds with enormous power reserves. Despite its straightforward design, the MT 100 with its three channels offers everything from clear cleans and creamy overdrive sounds to the brute high-gain sounds of modern metal. The Tremonti Head draws all its gain reserves from a total of eight 12AX7 preamp tubes, which provide the right gain level for every desired sound. The four 6L6GC tubes in the power amplifier, on the other hand, provide the necessary output power of 100 watts, allowing even larger gigs to be sounded without any problems. All three channels offer separate 3-band tone controls with additional presence control and individually adjustable master volumes, while the included footswitch provides easy access to all three channels by foot.
