The Chandler Limited TG Opto is a discrete single-channel compressor that is handmade and occupies two slots in a 500 rack. It has its roots in the classic EMI TG12413 Limiter from the EMI TG12345 mixing and mastering consoles of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The Sharp/Rounded Knee characteristics, make-up gain, attack and release can be controlled via its 4x infinitely variable switches. It also has a hardware bypass switch.

In combination with a Chandler TG12345 MkIV EQ and a TG2-500 preamp, the TG Opto compressor completes the channel of the classic EMI TG console as a rack version for installation in a 500mm frame.
