Eãs from Instruo is an analog logic module that uses Boolean functions to generate Gates and other switching states. Logic Gates were once used to implement boolean functions in calculations and electronic devices. These functions were performed on one or more binary inputs to produce a single binary output. In music synthesis, this concept can be used for many things, including rhythmic pattern generation or even patch-based problem solving. The module has all the classic logic functions such as AND, NAND, OR, NOR, XOR, XNOR and NOT. Applications range from rhythmic structures to CMOS-style ring modulation, to waveform mixing for square waveforms, to generating Gates using cleverly combined CV voltages.
