Five amplifiers and 50 effects

At the heart of Boss Katana Air are five amp simulations from Boss Katana amplifiers, covering the entire spectrum between glassy clean sounds, juicy crunch and aggressive high gain distortion. Boss Katana Air also provides a separate channel for acoustic instruments. A 3-band tone control is available to adjust the sound. Last but not least, over 50 Boss effects can be selected from the areas of modulation, dynamics, delay and reverb. Once found, sounds can be stored in one of 6 memory locations. The Boss Tone Studio app makes editing presets via Bluetooth particularly convenient.

Playing wireless electric guitar

The Boss Katana Air comes with a handy wireless transmitter that allows up to 12 hours of wireless electric guitar playing. A special feature here is the motion sensor, which wakes the amplifier from standby as soon as the electric guitar is picked up by the transmitter for playing. The integrated battery of the transmitter can also be charged directly in the Boss Katana Air, whereby the optimal radio connection is set up directly. The transmitter also has a USB port for alternative battery charging.
