Extended configuration and flexibility

The VAD716-2G is a six-piece kit with two rack toms, two floor toms, a digitized hi-hat, a ride pad and two 16-inch V cymbals. The new V71 sound module enables an enormous variety of sounds and expressive dynamics that can respond to every nuance of the player. It offers both pre-built and customizable kits so that the set can be adapted to any style of music. Thanks to the USB audio/MIDI interface, up to 32 separate tracks can be recorded and edited, making the set ideal for professional studio recordings.

Scope and features

The VAD716-2G offers a 14" digital snare, two 14" floor toms, a 10" and 12" rack tom as well as a 22" bass drum for a natural and authentic playing feel. The shells are available in five different finishes, including the new Satin Walnut finish, and are supplied with high-quality mesh heads for an acoustically realistic response. The adjustable DTS-30S hardware set with two DCS-30 combination stands, a DBS-30 cymbal boom stand and a PDS-20 module/pad stand ensures robust mounting of the components and is particularly easy to assemble and adjust.

High-quality mesh heads and full-size shells

The proven multi-layered and tension-adjustable Roland mesh heads contribute significantly to the natural playing feel of the VAD716-2G. The hit rebound can be individually adapted to your own playing style. The 22" bass drum provides a particularly authentic playing experience due to the air pressure and resistance generated, which is in no way inferior to that of an acoustic bass drum. With its full-size shells, the kit offers the inspiring feel of a high-end acoustic set. In addition, first-class sensors ensure a natural response and a high-quality playing experience.
