Since the best mounting point of each drum is in the center of each shell, the mounting weight is evenly distributed between two sliding points at the top and bottom of theTom. This provides true tonal separation of the Hardware from the shell and improves sound output. Sustain and tone can even be tuned using the included rubber IsoDiscs at any of the four tension points. Available for both the GyroLock-L and Pearl's standard 7/8" tube arm, R2 Air improves the overall sound of the entire drum kit and delivers the optimal sound at any angle.
