The wood combination promises a balanced basic sound with concise attack for fat riffs and solos. Thanks to the slim profile and compound radius of the fingerboard, the neck can be played without hindrance and allows both modern and classical playing techniques to go free.

DiMarzio Pickups for variable sounds

With the versatile pickup equipment from DiMarzio, the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS is the perfect electric guitar for rock and metal. The DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion Humbucker on the bridge makes the amplifier sweaty and provides the perfect basis for tight riffs and screaming solos with its fat sound. Two DiMarzio DP116 HS-2 complete the sound spectrum with their crystal-clear single coil sounds without capturing background noise. The pickups are controlled in a straight line by means of a 5-way blade switch and master volume control.

Floyd Rose Tremolo

As befits a real shredder guitar, the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1 HSS FR is equipped with a Floyd Rose Original Tremolo. Thanks to the double locking construction and the knife edge suspension, it convinces with sensitive response and absolute tuning stability even with the most aggressive dive bombs or squeals. Furthermore, Charvel die-cast mechanics complete the equipment of the Charvel USA Select San Dimas Style 1.
