Central MIDI switchboard for large setups with flexible routing

The M4U eX from ESI allows you to connect up to 8 MIDI devices in any configuration to your computer. This means that the eight ports can be used as both inputs and outputs, with the interface automatically recognising which signal type is currently present. Additional equipment, e.g. USB-MIDI devices, can be connected to the three USB 3 ports on the back, making the M4U eX a universal interface between computer and hardware, and the M4U eX can also be used as a merger or splitter without a computer. The function is controlled via buttons.
