The CM-15 from Teenage Engineering is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern, ideal for capturing speech and instruments with clarity and precision. Equipped with a built-in AD converter, it delivers maximum fidelity and a clean, transparent sound. A gain switch on the back provides three settings, allowing the preamplification to be easily adjusted for different sources.
In addition to classic 48V phantom power, the CM-15 can be powered via USB-C or the integrated rechargeable battery, which offers approximately 10 hours of runtime. In battery mode, a dedicated power switch activates the microphone. When using USB-C, both operating voltage and audio signal are transmitted through the same connection; otherwise, the microphone operates via a mini XLR cable.
