The Befaco i4 Instrument Interface (Assembled) is a high quality Pre-Amplifier and Audio Extractor that has been enhanced with some additional details in the 4th Revision. The Audio Signal is fed into the Module via the XLR/Jack Combo Input, for this purpose the Impedance is switchable between Line, Microphone & Hi-Z. For Condenser Microphones the +48V Phantom Power Switch can be activated. Thanks to the LED Peak Meter, the Input Level can be optimally adjusted. In addition to adjusting various Levels to Eurorack Volume, the Instrument Interface generates a Control Voltage (Envelope Follower) from the Volume Curve of the incoming Signal, which can be defined more precisely with the 2x Faders. In addition, the Output Threshold for Gate and Trigger can be adjusted using Gain and Bias Shift.
