The Eurorack EaganMatrix from Haken Audio contains the same digital sound generation as used in the Continuum Fingerboards from Haken Audio and the Expressive-E Osmose. The EaganMatrix masters different synthesis models like subtractive, FM, physical modelling including modal filter banks with the help of different oscillators, filters, modifiers like Waveshaping or ring modulation, several modulation sources like envelopes, LFOs and internal and external controllers. It is also possible to link parts of the synthesis and/or the effects it contains to the audio inputs, and to use the module as an effects unit. This makes the EM one of the most complex digital sound generation processes on the market. In addition, the sounds created with it can be exchanged with other instruments using the "hook editor". The module allows the control of parameters via USB, MIDI and eight arbitrarily assignable control voltage inputs. Parameters can also be combined in the editor, allowing even more complex sound changes to be implemented.
