The Instruo Lìon at a glance

Lìon by Instruo is a pin patch matrix with six inputs and six outputs each in the style of EMS synthesizers from the 1970s. First you connect the six inputs to frequently used sources and the six outputs to preferred destinations. The actual connection is only realized by setting one of the ten included pin cables. Links of audio signals between oscillators, filter(s), VCA, feedback loops and effects (send/return) can be realized as well as connections between modulation sources and destinations. For example, you can specify whether an oscillator should be routed directly to the mixer and/or be an FM source for the filter and be routed to a ring modulator. Or or oscillator 3 modulates the PWM from the other two oscillators. Once patched the rest goes in a jiffy thanks to the handy pins.
